Ukrainian FP-2 drones struck positions of Russian operators in the village of Rivnopillia, in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The attack targeted buildings used by military personnel responsible for operating FPV drones from the Russian Rubikon unit, according to information released by the CyberBoroshno community.
The operation was carried out by the 475th Separate Assault Regiment “CODE 9.2.” Before the strike, a Shark reconnaissance drone conducted aerial surveillance to locate the targets, while a Vampire hexacopter was used to adjust fire and ensure greater impact accuracy.
Launched during the night, the FP-2 kamikaze drones hit structures where Russian troops were positioned. The model, developed by the Ukrainian company Fire Point and officially unveiled in 2025, is an evolution of the FP-1, focused on direct attacks against enemy positions.
With its range reduced to 200 km, compared to 1,400 km for the previous model, the FP-2 compensates with an expanded warhead of up to 105 kg. The system features versions with autonomous guidance for fixed targets and manual control for moving targets, and is used against troop concentrations, logistics depots, trains, bridges, and fortified positions beyond the reach of conventional artillery.
